3. How we collect personal data

We collect personal data:

  • Directly from you when you register, place an order, contact support, request a refund, submit evidence, save preferences, join the affiliate programme, or communicate through email, live chat, WhatsApp, or a contact form.
  • Automatically when you use the website, through essential cookies, server logs, fraud-prevention tools, and - only where required consent has been obtained - analytics or similar non-essential technologies.
  • From service providers when a payment processor confirms a transaction, a delivery partner completes an order, a communications provider delivers a message, or a fraud or security provider supplies a risk signal.
  • From referral or affiliate partners when you visit through a tracked referral link or make an eligible referred purchase.

If information is required to create an account, process payment, deliver an order, or investigate a claim, failure to provide it may prevent Primingo from completing that request.

4. Why we use personal data and our lawful bases

Where Primingo relies on legitimate interests, we consider whether the processing is necessary, proportionate, and reasonably expected, and whether your rights override those interests.

5. Payments and saved payment methods

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Cryptocurrency payments may be processed by the cryptocurrency payment provider identified at checkout, including NOWPayments where offered. These providers may process personal data as independent controllers or service providers under their own privacy notices.

Your full card number and card security code are submitted through the payment provider's payment interface and are not intended to be stored on Primingo's systems. Primingo may receive limited payment information such as payment status, transaction ID, card brand, last four digits, billing details, risk outcome, and refund or dispute status.

If a saved-payment feature is offered and you choose to use it, the payment processor stores the payment method. Primingo may retain a token or reference that allows the processor to recognise the saved method, together with limited descriptive details such as the card brand and last four digits. Primingo does not use this token to reveal your full card details.

Never send full card details, online-banking credentials, wallet recovery phrases, or cryptocurrency private keys through email, WhatsApp, live chat, or a support form.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Primingo may use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies for login, account security, checkout, cart functions, fraud prevention, load balancing, and other services you request. These do not normally require consent.
  • Preference cookies to remember settings such as language or interface choices.
  • Analytics cookies to understand website usage and performance.
  • Marketing or attribution cookies to measure referrals or campaigns where these are used.

Where applicable law requires consent, Primingo will not set non-essential analytics or marketing cookies before valid consent is obtained. When non-essential cookies are active, the website must provide a working Cookie Settings control that allows you to accept, reject, or later change your choices as easily as you gave them.

Cookie names, providers, purposes, and expiry periods should be listed in a separate Cookie Policy or the live cookie-settings panel. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, although disabling essential cookies may affect account, cart, or checkout functions.

7. Marketing communications

Primingo may send service messages needed for an account or order, including payment confirmations, delivery messages, security alerts, refund updates, and support replies. These are not promotional messages.

Primingo sends promotional email, WhatsApp, or similar electronic marketing only where a lawful basis permits it. You can unsubscribe using the link or instruction in the message, change available account preferences, or contact [email protected]. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary account, order, support, or legal communications.

Primingo may retain a minimal suppression record after an opt-out so that the preference continues to be respected.

8. Who receives personal data?

Some third parties, particularly payment and communications providers, decide independently how they process data for their own compliance and security purposes. Their privacy notices also apply to that processing.

Primingo does not sell or rent personal data. Primingo does not permit service providers acting only on our instructions to use personal data for their own unrelated marketing.

If Primingo introduces independent third-party sellers or materially changes its marketplace model, this Policy and the checkout disclosure must be updated before sellers receive customer data.

9. International data transfers

Primingo serves customers internationally and uses service providers that may process data outside the United Kingdom or your country.

For restricted transfers from the United Kingdom, Primingo uses an applicable lawful mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognised safeguard. Where EU or EEA data-transfer rules apply, an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another permitted mechanism may be used.

You may contact us for more information about the safeguard relevant to your data, subject to any lawful confidentiality limits.

10. How we protect personal data

Primingo uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. Depending on the system and risk, these may include encrypted transmission, access restrictions, authentication controls, logging, backups, updates, supplier controls, and staff access limited to legitimate business needs.

No website, payment method, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should use a unique password for Primingo, protect their email account, avoid sharing access credentials, and contact Primingo if they suspect unauthorised account activity.

11. How long we keep personal data

Primingo keeps personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including contractual, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal requirements.

RecordNormal retention approach
Orders, invoices, payments, refunds, chargebacks, and store-credit transactionsNormally six years from the end of the relevant company financial year, and longer if required for an audit, tax enquiry, dispute, or legal claim
Account profileWhile the account is active, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to transaction, security, and legal records that must be retained
Delivery and access-related recordsFor the shortest period reasonably necessary to deliver and support the product, complete the applicable warranty, and handle any dispute or security issue
Support messages and submitted evidenceNormally up to 12 months after the support case closes, unless linked to an active order, fraud review, payment dispute, complaint, or legal claim
Security and technical logsNormally up to 12 months, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate an incident, abuse, or legal claim
Marketing recordsUntil you opt out or the data is no longer needed; a minimal suppression record may be retained to honour the opt-out
Cookie-consent recordsFor as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate and respect your consent choice
Affiliate and commission recordsFor the programme relationship and applicable accounting or legal-retention period

When a retention period ends, data is deleted, anonymised, or securely restricted unless continued retention is lawfully required. A deletion request does not override records Primingo must keep by law or genuinely needs for fraud prevention, disputes, or legal claims.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • ask us to correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of data in eligible circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict certain processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;
  • receive eligible data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • ask for information about relevant international-transfer safeguards;
  • request human review where an applicable right concerning automated decisions exists; and
  • complain to a data-protection regulator.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request. Describe the request and identify the email address connected to your account or order. Primingo may request limited additional information to confirm identity and protect the account. Do not send passwords, full card details, or cryptocurrency credentials.

These rights are not absolute. Primingo may retain or withhold information where a lawful exemption applies. Where UK law applies, we normally respond within one month, although the law may allow an extension for a complex request. We will explain any lawful extension or refusal.

UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. We ask that you contact Primingo first so we have an opportunity to resolve the concern, but this does not limit your right to approach the ICO.

13. Fraud screening and automated tools

Primingo and its payment providers may use automated risk signals to detect suspicious payments, account attacks, abuse, or policy violations. These signals may result in an order being delayed, declined by a payment provider, or referred for review.

Primingo does not intend to make a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through its own automated processing without safeguards required by applicable law. If you believe an automated risk result affected an order unfairly, contact support and request a review.

14. Children's privacy

Primingo's purchasing services are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for the purpose of selling digital products. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data to Primingo, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Primingo provides access to third-party digital products and may link to external websites or applications. Those third parties have their own terms, privacy practices, and security controls. This Policy covers Primingo's processing of personal data; it does not replace a third party's privacy notice for data that the third party independently collects.

Customers should review the privacy terms and account-sharing or usage rules of the relevant third-party service before using a purchased product.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Primingo may update this Policy when laws, providers, technology, products, or data practices change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new โ€œLast updatedโ€ date. If a change materially affects your rights or how personal data is used, Primingo will provide an additional notice where reasonably required, such as by email, account notification, or a website notice.
